Privacy Policy

FreshTodayMarket, operated by FRESH TODAY CO. LTD of KK 422 St, Kigali, Rwanda (“we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us and how we use it. FRESH TODAY CO. LTD is the data controller for that information.
What we collect
When you create an account or place an order we collect your name, email, phone number and delivery address, plus your order history. Passwords are stored securely (hashed) and never in plain text. We do not store card details — online payments are handled by our payment provider.
How we use it
We use your information to process and deliver your orders, to contact you about an order, and — only if you opt in — to send you offers and news. We never sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share only what’s necessary with the people who help fulfil your order: our delivery riders (name, address, phone) and our payment provider (to take payment). They may not use it for anything else.
How we measure the site
We count things like how many people viewed a product or reached checkout, so we know what to stock and where the site is confusing. These counts are anonymous: no name, no email, no account and no location is recorded with them, and we can never tell that a particular person did a particular thing. We don’t use advertising trackers and we don’t send your browsing to anyone else.
The map
When you set your delivery location we show a map built from OpenStreetMap. The map pictures are fetched from a map service, which therefore sees the part of Kigali you are looking at — that is all it receives, and only on the screens that show a map, not as you browse the shop. If you search for a street, we look it up for you from our own server rather than sending you to theirs. We keep the pin you confirm so we can find your door; we don’t follow you around with it.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information, and you can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time. Contact us on +250 788 517 361 for any privacy request.
